The Buffalo Bills entered Sunday’s game knowing they would be without two key contributors on offense. Still, another key starter was ruled out of action for this afternoon’s game against the Kansas City City Chiefs.
After ruling out wide receiver Keon Coleman and tight end Dalton Kincaid ahead of today’s matchup, the team announced that starting right tackle Spencer Brown would also be out for today’s game. Brown suffered an ankle injury late in last week’s win over the Indianapolis Colts. He had hoped to play on Sunday, but the Bills ruled him out on Sunday afternoon. Here is a look at Buffalo’s complete inactive list.
Brown’s loss at right tackle is significant. Starting in his place against Kansas City will be Ryan Van Demark. Van Demark performed well in place of Brown last week against the Indianapolis Colts, but he was on the field for just nine snaps in the team’s win before Brown returned. The offensive tackle will have a tough task against Kansas City.
Although the team will be without three key contributors, Buffalo’s good news is that Amari Cooper will return to the lineup on Sunday. Cooper has been dealing with a wrist injury that has kept him out of action for the past two weeks. Buffalo will need Cooper to step up in the AFC battle along with Khalil Shakir, Curtis Samuel, Dawson Knox, and Mack Hollins.
Kansas City will also be without some key contributors as Isiah Pacheco was not activated off the injured reserve for today’s matchup. Harrison Butker, the team’s clutch kicker, is also out after suffering a knee injury in practice this week. Here are all of the Chiefs’ inactive players for today’s game.
